24 Hours With The Ruthless Billionaire.
He disengaged and hailed; “Yeah! I’m so glad.”
He walked to the wall of the room and leaned on it. He turned to me with happiness flying all over his face.
“You still haven’t said thank you’ sir?” I said.
“What the ffff! What is always wrong with you this girl. Must I say ‘thank you’. ” He walked to me.
“Tell me ,how does ‘thank you’ add any value to you. Ask me for money , don’t be shy. Stop asking for thank you’ like it’s one big deal.” He said.
“Everything in life is not money sir. You must learn to say thank you’ Not just to me but to others. ” I said.
He sat with a grin formed at the corner of his lips.
“Mrs. Counsellor, keep counselling me please. “He said sarcastically.
“Just correcting you to do the right thing ” I said and went to sit on the table.
“Why not correct yourself to be rich. You are born poor and you have being living poor. With your poor mindset ,you came here to Lodge in an hotel without any payment plan in view. But you can stand before me and counsel me….a whole me!* He boasted.
“Where should I start from…you really need to know many things about me. I’m rich…stinkingly rich. You need to be richer than me to correct me. ” he added.
He continued : ” And may I tell you this? Rich men do not value ‘thank you’. Only poor people does. Do you still want to continue counselling?”
His words met the wrong part of me. Hurt me so bad and made me feel so inferior to him.
I do not know how rich people see the poor but they think they are rich because they are smarter than the poor.
I bite my lips painfully and lowered my head.
“You still want a ‘thank you?” He asked sarcastically.
“You will learn your lessons the hard way!” I said.
He laughed and said! “You sound like all those motivation speakers.”
“Thanks for mocking me but I use to be rich too before everything turned down for me.” I said with little tears dropping from the corner of my eyes.
I didn’t hear any word from him again.
I turned to him after I had cleaned my face.
“Wanna listen to my story?” I asked and he nodded slowly.
