24 Hours With The Ruthless Billionaire.
About eight hours later, someone planted a knock on my door and didn’t even waited for me to reply before stepping in.
“Rude , right?” Susan asked.
“Common! What have you being up to?”
She walked to me and sat beside me.
“You are thinking about something.”
“I? No.” She said and looked away.
“Yes , you are.” I smiled and she looked at my face. “Not about something , though. But about someone. “
“Are you a mind reader or what?”
I chuckled. “You are thinking about the man that gave you his contact at the club. You are debating on either to call him or not. Plus if you put a call across, you might not really know what to say.”
She pressed her eye on me. “Seems you had a nice dream. I only came to have fun with you.”
“Hum! Fun indeed. ” I let out. “How about we put a call across to the man?” I whispered and he looked inside my face.
I nodded. “Where is the business card that he gave you?”
She looked away and bite her lips. “Common, go and bring it. “
She looked at me and brought out the business card from her pocket.
“What the…you have this with you already? ” I exclaimed. “I said it! You have being thinking about that man all day” She slapped me playfully and I can’t just help but laugh.
“Bring out your phone , let’s do this. ” I said to her.
“I’m nervous.” She mumbled as she brought out her phone.
“Common! Susan, I know you have being made to love one man all your life and you haven’t really seen any reason to relate with other men , but…you need to get out of that shell and act like a prestigious woman that you are “
She nodded gently.
“Let’s call him.”
“What if he doesn’t pick up? What if he doesn’t recollect that we have met before? What if…”
“What if….common Suzan , just call.”
She obliged and placed the phone on loud speaker.
“Hi!” Susan greeted.
“Who am I unto, please?”
“Susan, the lady you…”
“Oh! Susan, I’ve being expecting your call. How are you doing?”
“Erm…Suzan, I’m really glad you put a call across. Can we like…erm, have a date?”
Susan looked at my face for what reply to give the man and I intentionally looked away. I want her to form a reply herself.
“Well, I’m actually not a type that goes out.”
“And that makes me really like you more, please give it a try.”
Susan sighed and after a brief moment of inteospection, she said “yes.”
“Thanks dear, I’ll call you tomorrow around 4PM.”
“Bye.” Susan hung up.
